An easy one-way river-valley trail linking Shiobara's visitor center with Hoki River Dam.

Follow the Hoki River from the visitor center through Fukuwata Onsen to Hoki River Dam.
Yashio Trail follows the Hoki River through forest and the Fukuwata Onsen area, crossing bridges and passing the Nuno Falls observation deck before reaching Hoki River Dam. It is an officially named component of the longer Shiobara Valley Trail, but its own endpoints and easy grade create a distinct planning objective.
