The Chasm Walk in Fiordland, South Island / Te Waipounamu.

The current walk passes through native bush to the river edge, where the force of the Cleddau can be seen and heard moving through carved basins and channels. Remnants of viewing structures destroyed in the February 2020 storm demonstrate the volume and power of floodwater in this catchment.
