Follow the historic Nature Study Path through the Lake Onuma area and take the southern Yoshinuma wetland branch to Arayu Onsen Shrine.
This official southern option shares the historic Nature Study Path approach to Lake Onuma before skirting the Yoshinuma wetlands. It is shorter and less difficult than the Mount Arayu-Fuji branch but remains a 7.5 km one-way route with a transport-dependent finish. The wetland alignment gives it a distinct planning purpose from the northern mountain option.
