PR 10 volgt een van de oudste openbare levada's van Madeira vanaf Ribeiro Frio. Langs de route openen uitzichten op de vallei, de landbouwgronden van Faial, São Roque do Faial en Porto da Cruz en de rots Penha d'Águia. Na het waterverdeelstation daalt de route via Lamaceiros naar Portela.
