Mueller Hut Route continues beyond Sealy Tarns as an unmaintained marked alpine route. Hikers cross rocky terrain, climb a loose scree slope to the ridge and follow orange poles through the basin to the hut. Conditions can transform the route into serious mountaineering terrain.
