The Menalon Trail is a long-distance trail of approximately 75 kilometres through the Menalon Mountains in Arcadia, central Peloponnese, Greece. It was the first Greek trail to be certified by the European Ramblers' Association as a Leading Quality Trail, indicating high standards of waymarking, maintenance, and environmental management. The trail connects eight traditional mountain villages including Stemnitsa, Dimitsana, and Elati, crossing the Lousios river gorge, the Mylaion plateau, and the fir-covered slopes of the Menalon range. The Lousios gorge section is particularly dramatic, with the river cutting a deep canyon through limestone, and the trail passing ancient monasteries perched on the cliff walls. The Menalon region is associated with Greek mythology as the home of the god Pan and the setting for many Arcadian pastoral poems. The trail offers a combination of mountain scenery, traditional village life, and ancient history. The walking is moderate with some steep descents into gorges.

Safety context
Gorge sections have steep drops and loose rock. Some sections are exposed to sun with limited shade. River crossings after rain require care. Goats and sheep dogs in the villages should be approached with caution.
The trail is well marked but some sections are remote. Summer temperatures can exceed 35°C. Mountain villages have limited accommodation outside peak season.
