Laguna Torre Trail
A full-day valley hike from El Chaltén to Laguna Torre beneath the Cerro Torre massif.
Route overview
Follow the Fitz Roy River valley past Mirador del Torre and De Agostini campsite to Laguna Torre's moraine.
The route follows a long but relatively moderate valley profile, passing the intermediate Mirador del Torre before reaching De Agostini campsite and the lagoon moraine. A further two-kilometre continuation toward Mirador Maestri is optional and excluded from the stated 19 km objective unless separately verified and planned.
