Kellys Beach Boardwalk is the principal walking approach to Kellys Beach. Interpretive signs explain how barrier-island dunes form and why this habitat supports more life than its exposed appearance suggests. The official 1.2 km distance is one way; BuddieHikes should present a normal return walk as approximately 2.4 km while preserving the official one-way field.
