Inspiration Woods Trail

A lush lower-mountain forest loop with short steep sections and year-round atmosphere.

Route overview

Rainforest loop through moss, ferns, cedar, hemlock and hanging lichens.

Inspiration Woods explores the interior cedar-hemlock rainforest on Mount Revelstoke’s lower slopes. Moss-covered ground, ferns and pale lichens create a sheltered route that remains appealing in rain and is often available earlier and later than the high-elevation trail network.
