Ichimanpo-no-Mori Forest Bathing Trail
A relaxed loop through a historic red-pine forest with viewpoints and seasonal flowers.
Route overview
Combine the red-pine forest path with signed roadside sections, viewpoints and the return past Bansui Bridge.
Starting at Takaku Atagosan Park, the official route follows Nasu Kaido Road before entering the Ichimanpo-no-Mori Forest. Three observatories overlook the town and Naka River, and the return passes the heritage Bansui Bridge. The course mixes forest trail with public-road walking, so traffic awareness is part of the route.
