Canyon Overlook Trail begins near the east tunnel entrance and traverses ledges, steps and a recessed alcove before reaching a broad viewpoint. The distance is short, but drop-offs and narrow sections make the route more serious than its mileage suggests. Parking is very limited and roadside access can be congested, so logistics and current highway restrictions matter as much as fitness.
